Introduction:

The 2013 Buick Regal is a premium sedan and midsized. It is available in three trim levels:

      i.        Front wheel drive(FWD)

    ii.        All wheel drive(AWD)

   iii.        Power comes from turbocharged engine or hybrid power train

Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, Audi A4, Toyota Camry, Acura TSX and the Chrysler 200 are the competitors.

Features:

2013 Buick Regal external features include standard and turbo models key Buick design, while the Regal GS includes more aggressive styling, bigger wheels, tires and lower stance. While the interior features are: it is equipped with leather covering, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and power driver’s seat. A smart phone can be attached with color touch-screen through USB port or Bluetooth. It allows control of smart phone functions and stream internet radio through stereo speakers of Regal.

Other features are also available like premium I, premium II, premium III and GS trim levels. Depending on the model Regal can have the Push button start, HID headlights. Regal turbo premium III includes turbocharged engine, an interactive driver control (IDC) system, 19 inch wheels.GS trim levels provides more power, excellent performance brakes, power sunroof, navigation system. 

Under the Hood:


The trim levels Base, premium I, premium II include Buick’s e-Assist mild hybrid power train which combines its 2.4 litter 4-cylinder engine with electric motor and a battery. Total output of the system inducted is 182 horsepower.

Premium III is developed with turbocharged, 2 litter 4-cylinder engine which provides output of 220 horsepower. Interactive drive control (IDC) system is also introduced. Shoppers have a choice between six speed automatic transmissions and six speeds manual.

While the trim level GS of Regal provides 270 horsepower version of turbocharged engine accompanying an enhanced version of interactive driver control (IDC) system. Transmission choice is just like those of Regal Turbo.

  • Regal with e-Assist consumes 25/36/29 Miles per Gallon(mpg) (city/highway/combined)
  • Regal turbo consisting of manual transmission consumes 20/32/24 mpg (city/highway/combined)
  • Regal turbo consisting of automatic transmission consumes 18/29/22 mpg (city/highway/combined)
  • Regal GS consisting of manual or automatic transmission consumes 19/27/22 mpg (city/highway/combined)

Safety:

 

Each vehicle should contain safety for passengers. So 2013 Buick Regal contains six standard air bags, traction and stability control. Depending on the trim some other safety equipments are available like rear seat side-impact air bags, overhead air bags, front and rear park assist sensors.
