Overview

The 2014 Mazda MAZDA6 is an all-new midsize Sedan offered in three trim levels: Grand

touring, touring and sport trim levels. Remodeled for 2014, the Msazda6 comes with novice

features and amazing design. It features the KODO, a “soul of motion” styling design and is

highly inspired by the concept of TAKERI. The 2014 model is powered by 2.5 liter Skyactiv-G

gasoline engine. It is offered with either 6-speed automatic or manual transmission with an EPA

rating of 37 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city drive and 29 mpg when combined with

the manual transmission whereas with automatic transmission offers 26 mpg city, for highway

38 mpg and 30 mpg combined.

Features

Completely redesigned 2014 model is new in terms of every aspect either it might be its

body shape, engines, and transmissions as well. The 2014 Mazda 6 sport version is the least

expensive one belonging to this family sedan. It comes with 17-inch alloy aluminum wheels,

standard manual transmission, and cloth seats. The optional automatic transmission adds the

Mazda 6 sport model with a 5.8 inch touch-screen colour display, music streaming, reversing

camera, HD radio and more.

The Mazda 6 touring, a mid-grade version of the model comes with 19-inch wheels, automatic

dual-zone climate control, leather seats, and commander switch utilized to operate the

functions of in-dash touch screen. Touring models comes equipped with an alert system for

rear cross-traffic and a blind-spot type monitoring system as well.

The Grand touring version of Mazda6 is fortified with adaptive front lighting, bi-xenon

headlights, fog lights, rear lip spoiler, LED running lights, rain-sensing wipers, and 19-inch

wheels with premium finish. In addition to the aforementioned features, heated exterior

mirrors, power sunroof, auto-dimming mirror, advanced keyless entry along with push-button

system are standard for grand touring version. Leather seats are equipped in this trim level

as well. It also has the heated front comfortable seats, navigation system featuring real-time

traffic, alarm system, Bose audio with 11 speaker sound system, and even smart city brake

technology.

Under the hood

Initially, Mazda 6 for 2014 is provided exclusively with the new Skyactiv-G 4 cylinder 2.5 liter

engine along with direct fuel injection. The engine generates about 184hp at about 5700 rpm

and at 3250 rpm it offers about 185 lb-ft of torque. The car model is highly fuel efficient and

delivers the best performance. It is smartly designed to meet the expectations of the buyers.
