GMC Sierra 2500HD
After outstanding 111 years of successfully producing some of the top-of-the-line pickup trucks, GM returns with a brand-new model to take the driver’s breath away. A brand-new set of powered trucks is set to reach the market in 2015, most prominently the latest design GM has been working on, the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The latest powered truck tighten is expected to bring the traditional quality GM has been responsible for over a century.
What is going to be new for next year?
Some speculate that there are no changes which might particularly affect the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Besides the enormous towing capability which is almost by default in all the GMC releases, the interior design is following the much familiar this car industry has cultivated. Most of the equipment and the performance parts come from the previous models.
What about towing and engine power?
The engine this model is going to come up with is the standard issue 6.0-liter V-8 engine. Even though no major changes have been made to the engine itself, the choice to implement it into the GMC’s Sierra 2500HD is definitely going to increase the towing capabilities as well as the power of the model.
Has anything been changed at all?
Even though the performance and the exterior haven’t seen much of a change, the interior was certainly subjected to a large number of changes. Most importantly, the controls and features have been relocated for easier access, which in turn will grant drivers much smoother operation of the car when they are on the road. Safety features include the standard, technologically improved trailer sway control as well as the braking system to add to the handling and make it easier.
An official announcement confirms quality
Tony DiSalle, vice president of the GMC marketing department assured the drivers that the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD is going to bring nothing but quality, stating that this exclusive model is going to come back with a refined design which is going to satisfy customers greatly. Whether or not this claim is true will be revealed at the release, which hasn’t been announced yet. DiSalle proceeded to state that the Sierra 2500HD is going to have a much larger towing capacity.
Is it worth the hype?
At first glance, it definitely seems that the Sierra 2500HD is nothing more than a Silverado HD copy. In terms of performance, it seems to add its own flair, but the overall first impression definitely leads us to believe that no major changes will be introduced with the latest Sierra 2500HD. With or without improvements, GMC has been known to deliver only the top quality pickup trucks. It is their long standing trend.
